"Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly...” — Robert F. Kennedy

About Me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) with a private psychotherapy practice in Campbell, California. I’ve been in private practice since 2000, after receiving my M.S. in Counseling Psychology in 1997 from California State University, East Bay. After completing my Master’s Degree, I worked for CSUEB in the Student Counseling Center doing individual, couple and group therapy. I worked for the Diocese of San Jose providing counseling to children, and adolescents struggling with anxiety, loss, bullying, and other school stressors. I also work with parents to help them navigate the sometimes rough waters of parenthood. In addition, for over ten years I have lead psycho-educational groups for adult men and women focused on overcoming compulsive overeating.

I have over 15 years of training and education in working with individuals, couples and parents. And I continue to take courses that enhance my skills as a therapist.

I served on the Board of Directors for the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. I am also a member of its statewide parent organization, the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

Before working as a therapist, I worked in the technology industry, where I learned about the stresses on individuals and relationships that come from that environment.
